Three $12,000 Pop-Up Trotting Series divisions went to the gate on Monday, Sept. 2 at Woodbine Mohawk Park and All Gas No Brakes was the swiftest winner of the trio.

The series opened on Monday's card with the first leg contested in races five, seven, and eight. With a minimum of 10 starts, conditions for the series fit non-winners of $18,000 (fillies and mares $22,500) in 2024 and also-eligible horses not averaging $1,400 (fillies and mares $1,750) per starts in 2024.

All Gas No Brakes floated out of the gate in his division and settled in fourth briefly. As a pair of breakers left the top spot wide open, Villefranche As (Louis-Philippe Roy) zoomed into the lead and All Gas No Brakes followed suit, caught on the outside through the opening split in :28.2. Through the :58 half, Villefranche As pressed forward and All Gas No Brakes continued at his heels. As they approached the three-quarters in 1:27.2, All Gas No Brakes pressed his gas pedal downward to overtake the leader. He kept on going to win by 3-3/4 lengths in 1:55.1. Villefranche As had to settle for second and Delcrest Brent (Steven Hudon) completed the triactor.

Down the stretch, Prince Of Sussex narrowed the margin between himself and the dueling leaders.
