Stepping on the gas pedal at the end of the mile, Roll Em cruised to a Preferred score on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The ‘King Of Island Racing’ Marc Campbell was in the race bike behind his trainee as he cleared to the lead past the :27.2 opening quarter in the $3,800 Preferred Pace then hit the half in :55.2. The Gold Cup and Saucer finalist backed down the third split with a :29.4 quarter for a 1:25.1 clocking then kicked home in :27.2 to complete the mile in 1:52.3 while defeating a charging Twin B Tuffenuff (Gilles Barrieau). Fellow Campbell trainee Time To Dance (Ken Murphy) finished third.
