Cambest Kisser, owned by Donald and Steven MacRae and trained by Stephen Quinn, won the Monday afternoon feature race at Red Shores Summerside in 1:58.1.
Jason Hughes, who enjoyed a big day at the office with five winners, mapped out the successful trip for Cambest Kisser who sat mid-pack throughout the mile before rallying late to beat Bet The House and King of Rock. Every Day, who set fractions of :28.1, :58.1 and 1:27.4, faded to fourth.
The Hughes-Quinn team also teamed up for victories with Stayoutofmyaffair, Twin B Token and BR Power Surge. Hughes and trainer Nick MacGillivray scored with Last Art on Deck.
The fastest mile of the day went to Private Joke and Michael McGuigan in 1:57.1. The mare is trained by Earl Watts for owners Wade Peconi, Windemere Farms and John Howatt.
Abundaspin claimed the trot class for driver Harold Shepherd in 2:02.1. The 13 year-old trotting star recorded his 11th win from 27 starts this season for owner Mikeala Lustic.
