Sudoku (Jordan Stratton), chasing from a looser pocket, saved second, with Dune In Red (Mark MacDonald), Caribbean Rose N (Brian Sears) and Jonsie Jones (Tyler Buter) rounding out the payees.
For Krispy Apple, a seven-year-old daughter of Western Ideal co-owned by Bamond Racing and Joseph Davino and trainer by Jeffrey Bamond, Jr., it was her ninth win in 20 seasonal starts and it boosted her overall earnings to $1,509,576.
