Favourite Cammisrazmataz recovered from an early miscue to triumph in the fourth race by over four lengths in 1:57 to give Taylor his first win on the card. Ram Of The Night, and 8-1 fourth choice, was also a dominating winner in the seventh race, stopping the clock in 1:56.1 with a seven and a half-length lead on the field. In the 10th event, the bettor’s choice, Pure Bunny, held on by a head for the 1:59.4 score over 132-1 shot Daylon Holiday (Stuart Sowerby) providing Taylor with the hat trick.
Driver Trevor Henry, who scored a driving grand slam on the night, was in the bike for all three of Taylor’s wins.
Taylor, who has earned over $630,000 in purses this year, is now just three wins shy of 100. Over the course of his career, the Clinton, Ont. resident has recorded 1,372 victories earning over $7.4 million.
