.
The Barry McNaughton trained and driven Three Promises fired off the gate from Post 6 and led the field to the opening quarter in :29 seconds before having to endure the wrath of Hurricane Pat and Tyler Redwood, who laid on the pressure through the middle panels of :58.2 and 1:28. Meanwhile, Isabellas Wish had moved to the outside from fifth under the command of conditioner Darryl Mason and was ready to pounce in the stretch. The fan favourite sprinted home to win in 1:58.4 by a length and half. Three Promised stayed for second and Outlaw Watch Me and Brian Gray came on for third.
Killarney, MB resident Mason also shares ownership of the five-year-old mare with his wife, Sherri. For Isabellas Wish, the win was her eighth of the season in 19 starts and 23rd lifetime pushing her earnings to $58,813.
