Returning to the races following a month-long layoff, Bill Hamm's homebred Insincerity earned her 30th career win on Wednesday night at Grand River Raceway off a first over trip in the $7,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 Pace.

Andro Madi (Anthony MacDonald) came through inside before post three leaver Polk Dot Hanover (Kelly Sheppard) crossed over to command off the gate, however, the 3-5 favourite Andro Madi was back out for the retake by the first quarter mark, which was reached in 28 seconds. As the field moved in front of the grandstand and passed the half-mile mark in :58.1, Insincerity and catch-driver Robert Shepherd tipped out from fifth and advanced first up to eventually overtake Andro Madi down the backside. The 5-1 second choice had a two-length lead by the 1:27.2 third quarter mark as Andro Madi began to fade and Shellace (Lorne House) pursued after tracking cover. Insincerity kept her distance from her rivals into the stretch and won by three lengths in 1:56.4 over Shellace, with Haute Couture (Ryan Holliday) coming in third.

The six-year-old daughter of Rambaran has added six victories to her resume from 19 starts this year, with her lifetime bankroll approaching $200,000. She paid $12.50 to win.
