Paul Chambers’ and Laurieta Mello’s JM Vangogh ($4.80, Tony Morgan) achieved his 58th career win in his illustrious career Wednesday, winning the $21,700 Junior Open Trot at Harrington Raceway in 1:57.1 on a track listed in ‘good’ condition.

The nine-year-old Earl stallion sat a pocket trip behind pacesetting Safari Heat and found room in the stretch for a one length triumph. Fivedollarsforsox rallied for second, while Safari Heat held third.

JM Vangogh has now banked nearly $1.85 million in his career for co-owner/trainer Chambers.

Meanwhile, driver Jim Morand is rapidly approaching 8,000 wins as he registered four driving wins Wednesday, giving him 7,985. He captured the daily double on Monday and Tuesday. He also won the first half of the double Wednesday, but did not have a drive in the second race.
