The Winners Over Pace headlined the Sunday (Sept. 15) afternoon card at Inverness Raceway and Rotten Ronnie scored as the bettors' choice in the feature.
Rotten Ronnie (Redmond Doucet) and Sunshine Lou battled to the opening quarter in :27.3 with Sunshine Lou clicking the timer first. Rotten Ronnie continued home and fended off a late spell by Shir Gain (Rodney Gillis) to win by a quarter of a length in 1:56.1. Eastcoast Invader (Monica Sutherland) completed the triactor.
