Playing second fiddle to Machthemoment among the Preferred ranks at St. John's Racing and Entertainment Centre since the start of the season, it was finally Muzzysenglishbaby's time to shine on Sunday.

Leaving from post four in the $690 top class, driver Dennis Lambert Jr. put Muzzysenglishbaby on the lead and never looked back en route to a 2:02.1 one length triumph over the reigning class champion. Dans Ideal finished over six lengths behind in third.

Overlooked as the longest shot on the board at odds of 13-1 despite finishing second in his last four starts, Muzzysenglishbaby paid $28.60 to win his sixth start of the season.

The seven-year-old Largo gelding is owned and trained by Jim Byrne of St. John's, Nfld. He now has 12 wins in 50 career starts with his latest a new lifetime mark.
