Up The Alley fetched the highest price at Standardbred Canada's 2013 Canadian Yearling Sale, held Sunday at SC's Sale Pavilion at Flamboro Downs.

The son of Muscle Mass out of Sister Mary Lindy, Up The Alley is a full brother to multiple Ontario Sires Stakes winner Muscle Matters. He sold for $70,000 to Stratford, Ont.'s Vic Hayter.

Also attracting attention from prospective buyers was Deweycheatumnhowe filly Auila, a sister to two-year-old OSS Gold winner Valorscross. That filly sold for $60,000 to Ohsweken's Eddie Green. Green was the sale's most active buyer, purchasing eight yearlings.

In front of a solid crowd, a total of 199 yearlings sold for more than $2.02 million. That produced an average of $10,159.
