The Government of Ontario released regulations and guidance for businesses and organizations last week to support them in implementing proof of vaccination requirements, which take effect today (Wednesday, Sept. 22).
The provincial regulations added to the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response To COVID-19) Act, 2020 include that identification and proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required at the point of entry for the indoor areas of horse racing tracks.
Among the exemptions listed, patrons do not need to show proof of vaccination when entering an indoor area solely to place a bet or pick up winnings.
