Harrington Raceway and the Kent County (DE) SPCA will join forces to host the third annual Pet Food Drive on Sunday, September 18
.
Interested participants are encouraged to enjoy a night of live horse racing and bring a bag of pet food (cat, dog, rabbit, horse, etc.).
Leading drivers have pledged to donate a monetary amount for each pound of food collected.
The Kent County SPCA will also have pets available for adoption on display in the grandstand lobby. More than 14,000 pounds of pet food were donated at the last two fundraisers. For more information, please call Karen Craft at 302-242-6571. The fundraiser will begin with first post at 5:30 p.m.
