Scott Zeron, the nation’s winningest driver of 2010, piled on five more wins to his already-impressive yearly totals during a big night at the office at Grand River Raceway
on Monday evening.
Zeron, who started the week with 290 wins, finished the evening with 295 wins thanks to his productive night over the Elora half-miler.
Zeron clicked with Out The Blue (2:05.3), Treat Yourself (1:59.3), California Stars (2:04), R Stormin Norman (1:56.2) and Electric Tom Boy (1:57.2) to push his career bankroll in excess of $6.3 million.
The 2010 season has been kind to Zeron, who has surpassed the personal records he achieved last year. He has 395 wins this year compared to his 266-win season in 2009, and this year’s earnings in excess of $2.8 million tops last year’s total which sat at just over $2.1 million.
