Junebugs Baby turned in another dominating display at Northside Downs with a double-digit length victory in Saturday's featured Winners Over Pace.
The six-year-old son of Western Paradise took the lead after the first quarter in the $1,350 top class and drew off, with his leading margin reaching as much as 15 lengths in the stretch. His final margin was 10-3/4 lengths when he reached the wire in 1:57.3 over the "good" track. Boknows Momngranny was second and Brother John was third.
Greg Bailey was in the driver's seat for Junebug Baby's seventh win this year. Fraser Turnbull bred, trains and co-owns the 36-time career winner with John Turnbull Jr.
