Trainer Jodie Cullen sent out another three winners on the Flamboro Downs card on Thursday, Sept. 12.
Cullen's first winner returned in the first race, a $6,000 conditioned pace, with Exotic Dragon and Travis Cullen teaming up for a four length score in 1:55.3. The six-year-old daughter of Custard The Dragon - Accentuate is owned by Paul Sanders, Travis Cullen, and Ronald Cullen. She paid $2.10 to win.
Ed Hensley piloted Cullen's second and third winners to victory to complete the hat trick. Shoot The Whiskey ($3.80) was a gate-to-wire winner in the $7,200 fillies and mares claiming pace by 2-1/4 lengths in 1:54.2. T H Jackies Legacy gave Cullen her pair of bookend triumphs with a 1-1/2 length score in 1:57 in the $4,800 fillies and mares claiming pace.
A trio of $8,000 Prospect Series divisions went postward on Thursday evening as the fifth leg for three-year-old colts and geldings.
Harborlite Ambrose was first up with a gate-to-wire win from post seven with Austin Sorrie holding the lines for Ralph Jardine. The Up The Credit - Mattgellan sophomore colt won by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:55.1 with a 19-1 upset, returning $40.00 to win. Jardine bred and owns the winner.
Lamborghini Lou ($5.30) was piloted to a 1-1/2 length victory in 1:56 by trainer Paul Mackenzie, who co-owns the Mcwicked - Hnt Angel sophomore with Miriam Brown.
Tricky Mcwicky (Mcwicked - Hat Trick Honey) won the third and final Prospect Series division of the evening with Colin Kelly in the bike for trainer David Frey and breeder/owners Stuart and Patricia Bolender. The pair won by a half length in 1:57. He paid $8.10 to win.
