This week marks the final week of the 2023 National Caretaker Appreciation Day (NCAD) events, which recognize and reward caretakers for their hard work and commitment to the Standardbred racing industry.
Fraser Downs will host NCAD on Thursday, Sept. 14 and Inverness Raceway will finish off the celebrations on Sunday, Sept. 17.
Over the past two weeks, caretakers have been recognized through various events at racetracks around the nation. Events include post-parade announcements, winner’s circle presentations, gift card giveaways, draw prizes, complimentary win pictures, refreshments and more.
