Jett Propelled continued her stellar 2026 season with a 1:55.1 triumph in the $31,250 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at Harrington Raceway.
Off a perfect second-over trip guided by Jason Thompson, the Roddys Bags Again-Jett Away five-year-old mare surged home to achieve her 10th win of the year in 28 outings. She got away sixth in a :27.3 quarter, raced on cover past the half in :56.3 and three-quarters in 1:25.2 and charged from fifth to first in the stretch to prevail by a half-length. Always B Merry (Allan Davis) was second off a front-end trip, followed by Cindy Jo (Roger Plante Jr.).
After being a Delaware sire stakes champion at three, Jett Propelled has flourished the last two seasons, emerging as one of the top mares on the Delaware circuit. She has won seven Opens this year, three at Harrington, and is now 26-for-92 lifetime. Bob Shahan owns, trains and bred the mare. The win price was $4.40.
