Rose Run Quest dazzled in the $3,100 Preferred Pace at Charlottetown Driving Park on Saturday (Aug. 8).
With Brodie MacPhee at the lines of the Marc Campbell trainee, Rose Run Quest scored in 1:52.1 for owner Blair Hansen of Charlottetown as the pacer preps for next week’s Guardian Gold Cup and Saucer trials. Campbell was driving Time To Dance, who finished second, while Lisburn was third.
Power Of A Cruiser was another Campbell trained winner in 1:55.3 with Adam Merner in the driver’s seat.
Campbell’s first driving win came with the Wendy MacRae trained Sports Royalty in 1:56.4 and the Winsloe reinsman followed it up with a 1:56.2 score aboard World Wonder from the Michael Gallant stable. Mayhem Man was a front end victor in race 6 for trainer Jay Noye in 1:56.3.
Freddy Bear put together an incredible mile winning the Preferred 2 Pace in 1:53.3 for trainer-driver Campbell, pacing his own back half in :55.1.
