It has been reported that thieves utilizing a modified horse trailer recently stole 500 gallons of fuel from a gas station.
An article by Los Angeles Times explains that a pick-up truck towing a modified horse trailer pulled into a gas station in Riverside, Los Angeles on July 22 and made off with quite a haul.
According to an eyewitness account, the trailer was parked over a tank-filing hole in the ground. The report states that the modified trailer had a concealed interior pumping system which allowed the thieves to steal the fuel.
The article also states that the trailer reportedly had an ‘alien’ sticker on the rear.
