Ontario-owned Andreios Kardia ($4.60) and driver Aaron Byron won the $10,000 Open Pace featured at Tioga Downs on Sunday (August 6).

Time Out Im Tired (Jim Marohn Jr.) hustled to the lead and carved out all the early fractions :28.1, :56.2 and 1:24.4. The six-year-old Badlands Hanover gelding won for the third time this season and earned career victory number 22 for trainer Jeff Byron and owner/breeder Ina Madill of Thornton, Ont. Vernon Downs' leading driver John MacDonald continued his great weekend. He's had 13 victories in three days at Vernon and added two more at Tioga Downs on Sunday. He first took Machmemackie ($7.80) to victory after making a late move in the stretch to win in 1:51.4. He was victorious again in the last race of the afternoon leading Charmbro Curiosity ($12.20) to the winner's circle.

Live racing resumes at Tioga Downs on Friday (August 11) at 6:50 p.m. The Nichols, New York track will welcome the New York Sire Stakes for sophomore trotting colts.
