Fresh off a pair of victories in the claiming ranks at Flamboro Downs, Full Volume travelled to Hiawatha Horse Park for his third straight victory in Saturday's co-featured $10,000 Preferred 2 Trot.

Driven by Robert Sparling Jr., Full Volume romped to a seven length victory in 2:01.1 over the sloppy track, which was rated four seconds off. Stonebridge Spirit finished second off a pocket trip and favourite Oaklea Tyson came in third.

The six-year-old son of Striking Sahbra is owned by trainer Cameron Francis and David Yuzpe of London, Ont.

Just Crowned made his Hiawatha Horse Park debut a winning one in the matching Preferred 2 Pace as he wore down Slots Of Fun for the 1:54.4 score. Artashack rallied from the backfield to place one length behind the winner while Slots Of Fun settled for third.

The five-year-old Artsplace gelding is trained and owned by Tony Piroski of Essex, Ont.
