Following a brief hiatus due to unsafe track conditions, live racing at Indiana Downs is scheduled to resume Thursday, August 5 at 4:55 p.m

.

Racing has been cancelled since Monday night after a horse pulled up lame and was later euthanized.

Nationally recognized racetrack consultant, Dan Coon, has been working with Indiana Downs Track Superintendant, Jim White, and they have made significant improvements to the racing surface.

ISA President, Jack Kieninger, and Indiana Downs General Manager, Jon Schuster, spent several hours together on the actual racing surface Wednesday afternoon and reached a joint decision to resume the normal racing schedule.

Indiana Downs greatly appreciates the partnership, flexibility, and support from the leadership and members of the ISA.
