Briefcase Bomb Scare At Rideau

A brief case discovered between two vehicles in the parking lot at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Wednesday evening prompted suspicion from the Ottawa Police Service and its explosive unit

The briefcase was x-rayed and found to be empty and of no risk to patrons. A security perimeter that had been set up was removed shortly after.
