The fourth leg of the Fiesty Fillies Pacing Series went postward as part of Monday’s 15-race program at Rideau Carleton Raceway, with a pair of $7,500 divisions on tap for the two-year-olds

.

Patrick Richer hustled C Lulujustlikethis to the lead shortly after the field sped by the quarter pole, and the Modern Art-Queen From Omaha miss never looked back from that point on. She threw down middle splits of :57.3 and 1:27.1 before finishing off her foes with a :30.3 final frame. She was a half-length better than runner-up Zoes Turn in the 1:57.4 decision. Third prize went to Chocolatine.

Trainer Lucille Gauthier of Sainte-Marthe-Sur-Le-Lac shares ownership on the freshman with partner Jean Guy Martineau of Deux-Montagnes, QC. She has found her way to victory lane in three of her first four starts, banking $11,625 along the way.

Driver John MacDonald wasted no time in establishing the lead with St Lads Trixie in the second division, and the daughter of Artesian-Tricky Fame led at every panel en route to posting the three-length score in 1:58.3. Galloping Glorydee was second best, while the show dough went to Dixie Allstar.

Sebastien Giroux conditions the rookie for owner Robert Seguin of Gatineau, QC. It was the second victory in five tries for the pacing lass, who has stashed away more than $37,000 along the way.
