It was the Jody Jamieson show at Georgian Downs from start to finish on Tuesday evening, as the teamster clicked to win seven times on the 11-race program
.
Jamieson captured the first four races with Lee Ave (1:56.3), Armbro Chronicle (1:54.2), St Lads Onyx (1:57.2) and Overdraft (1:58.4). He tacked on another win in the seventh race with Prince Rocco (1:58.2) before going back-to-back in Races 9 and 10 with Best In Choice (1:54.4) and Big Bruiser (1:59.2).
Jamieson put together a 7-1-1 record from the nine driving assignments he had on the program, and that amounted to $36,895 in purse earnings. It also pushed his lifetime total over $60 million.
Jamieson continues to lead the nation for wins (435) and earnings ($5,670,954) in 2009.
