The 2010 Little Brown Jug is just around the corner, as the $350,000 Cane Pace and the $270,000 Simcoe Stakes are some of the only major stakes remaining prior to
the annual half-mile classic.
The $650,000 Little Brown Jug will be raced September 23 at the Delaware Ohio County Fairgrounds.
The Cane Pace will feature eight three-year-olds including Cane Pace elimination winner Im Gorgeous, who equalled the Freehold Raceway track record of 1:50.4.
Others in the Cane field include qualifiers Woodstock, Valentino, Rockin Image and Urgent Action. BGs Folly, Delmarvalous and One More Laugh did not have to qualify, but will race in the final.
