Cant Be Seduced and Keystone Tempo shared honours as the fastest winners among seven divisions of Stallion Series action on Wednesday night at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs
. Each of the seven races for two-year-old trotting fillies carried a purse of $20,000.
Cant Be Seduced, trained and driven by Trond Smedshammer, and Keystone Tempo, driven by Tony Schadel for trainer Linda Schadel, each won a Stallion Series split in 1:59.2. Each filly benefitted from racing before heavy rains fell at Pocono to turn the track sloppy after Race 7.
Other Stallion Series winners at Pocono on Wednesday were Dellies Jewel (Mike Wilder, Raymond Simms) in 2:01.4; Touch Of Charm (Matt Kakaley, Jim Campbell) in 2:01.2; Marion Mon Ami (John Campbell, William Popfinger) in 2:01.3; Willing Wind (Smedshammer driver and trainer) in 2:01.3; and Devilcious (Kakaley, Ron Gurfein) in 1:59.4.
