For the second week-in-a-row Well Said finds himself perched atop the Hambletonian/Breeders Crown Standardbred Poll, but others are nipping at his heels

.

Despite being soundly defeated in last Saturday’s Adios final, the Steve Elliott-trained son of Western Hanover-Must See holds down the top spot by a six-point margin over Lucky Jim, who hasn’t raced since finishing third in the Maple Leaf Trot final.

Those two each garnered 11 first-place votes in Week 13 of the poll, and so did Muscle Hill. The multi-talented trotting son of Muscles Yankee-Yankee Blondie was an easy winner in last Saturday’s Hambletonian elimination at The Meadowlands for trainer Greg Peck and driver Brian Sears.
