A field of eight two-year-old pacing fillies will line up Sunday, September 1 at Hippodrome 3R in Quebec for the $31,600 Lucien Bombardier Pace, which is co-sponsored by Standardbred Canada and the Quebec Jockey Club.
The stakes event has been carded as Race 8 on the 10-dash docket. First-race post time is 1:00 p.m.
A two-horse entry from the stable of Stephane Beaudoin has been installed as the 5-2 favourite on the morning line. Both of the fillies are by Allamerican Native.
Inbox Hanover (PP6, L. Turcotte), who is out of Inspire Hanover, has drawn the best post of Beaudoin's charges, as Alevala Hanover (PP8, M. Belanger), who is out of Armbro Odessa, has drawn the outermost starting position.
Champagne Shower (PP7, D. St. Pierre, 3-1) and Raiponce (PP1, M. Charron, 7-2) have also been rated highly.
The filed will be filled out by Lady Lou Dream (PP2, S. Lacaille, 5-1), Fun Of Easter (PP3, P. Berube, 6-1), Cassette Hanover (PP4, M. Gaudreault, 7-1) and C L Infinite (PP5, D. Pilon, 4-1).
