Driven by Ross Wolfenden, Man About Town improved to two-for-two at Harrington Raceway by capturing the $20,000 Open Trot Wednesday.
The seven-year-old Self Possessed gelding made the front end early and set fractions of 28.1, 57.3 and 1:27.3 before holding off King Gus and Second Hand News for the win.
The heavy favourite JM Vangogh made an uncharacteristic break in stride early in the race and suffered an unknown injury which is not believed to be life threatening.
With the victory, Man About Town earned his third win of the season and second straight at Harrington.
Driver Jim Morand won four races on the program.
