On Wednesday August 25, United States District Court Judge Richard D. Bennett denied the motions of the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association, the Maryland Jockey Club and related parties to reconsider his earlier ruling in an anti-trust lawsuit filed on behalf of Cloverleaf

Enterprises, the owners of Rosecroft Raceway, in United States District Court.

“I am very pleased that Judge Bennett quickly dismissed the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s and the Maryland Jockey Club’s Motion to Reconsider," Cloverleaf Enterprises President Kelley Rogers said via release. "The Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen and the Maryland Jockey Club mounted an aggressive case to dismiss and I am happy Judge Bennett rejected their arguments."

Rogers also stated in the release that Cloverleaf is looking forward to the discovery phase of the case.
