This Rideau Carleton Raceway race office this morning drew the field for the 2010 edition of the Frank Ryan Memorial Trot. The $161,250 event for older trotters will be the centrepiece of the Ottawa-area track's Sunday, August 29 card of racing

Five-year-old Pearsall Hanover gelding Slave Dream, winner of the recent Nat Ray at the Meadowlands Racetrack, has drawn Post 2 for driver Sylvain Filion and trainer Frank O'Reilly.
Armbro Chronicle, the eight-year-old Self Possessed gelding which won the 2008 edition of the Frank Ryan, will be taking another shot for driver Mike Saftic and trainer Kent Baker. Armbro Chronicle has drawn Post 5.
Mohawk Racetrack track record holder Triumphant Caviar (PP3, Luc Ouellette) and $10,000 supplement Misterizi (PP7, Rick Zeron) will also be looking to grab the lion's share of the purse.
The Frank Ryan Memorial has been carded as Race 12, and Rideau has announced that the Ottawa Senators' head coach and harness racing enthusiast Cory Clouston will be on hand as a special VIP for the evening.
