L Ts Best Is Just That At Harrington

Thomas Barrett’s L Ts Best ($3.60, Vince Copeland) put together a strong stretch rally to win the $21,700 Junior Open Trot Wednesday at Harrington Raceway

The six-year-old Davanti gelding was positioned second over as pacesetter Juanita set fractions of :29.1, :59.1 and 1:28.1. Meanwhile, L Ts Best surged three-wide and overpowered the front runner for a one length win. Juanita was second while Fivedollarsforsox finished third.

For L Ts Best, it was his sixth win of the year as his seasonal earnings ballooned to more than $158,000 for trainer/driver Vincent Copeland.

Driver Tony Morgan won three races on the program.
