On the 11-race card at Century Downs Tuesday (Aug. 25), driver Brandon Campbell made the trip to the winner’s circle on five occasions.
Campbell started his afternoon with a blowout victory by his pupil Dont Rock The Boat ($8.40), he strolled to a five-and-a-quarter length win in 1:56.2 in the afternoon’s second race. A few races later, Campbell landed in the winner’s circle again but this time on the better end of a photo finish behind Red Hot Schmoolie ($11.30) in a 1:57.3 mile. He came back the next race to launch off cover and win with Dontworrydonthurry ($5.8) by a half-length in 1:58.2.
Later in the card, Campbell nabbed his fourth victory when winning with Michael Campbell trainee Shaleslittlespirit ($12.40) by two-and-a-half lengths in 1:55.4. He capped his five-pack in the following race, winning by a neck with Ima Dude ($13.40) in 1:53.3.
