Machthemoment continued to dominate the Preferred pacers at St. John's Racing and Entertainment Centre, scoring his third consecutive victory in the top class on Sunday afternoon.

The nine-year-old chestnut gelding wired the field of Preferred pacers for the three and three-quarter length victory in 2:04 for trainer/driver Terrence Williams and Newfoundland owners Jeanette Newell of Coleys Point and Justin Newell of North Valley. Longshot Muzzysenglishbaby (Dennis Lambert Jr.) rallied wide from the back of the pack to place while Dustylane Wildbill (Shane Forward) finished third off a pocket trip.

After missing the 2012 racing season, Machthemoment's perfect 2013 record has allowed the pacer to reach the 40-win mark.

Williams bookended the seven-race program with two-year-old colt Salmonier Storm winning his career-debut in the opener by five lengths in 2:08.2 and Machthemoment closing out the card.
