The Sunday afternoon (Aug. 23) program at Running Aces featured the Minnesota-Sired sophomore trotters with a total purse of $23,000.

The $13,800 "A" division went to Teachmehowtotory who left alertly from post 5 before diver Nick Roland executed the give-and-go with Al Mar Why Not as they completed an opening half in :59.2.

SD Eliminator launched a first-over attack and pressured the leader all the way to the three-quarter mark before Teachmehowtotory began to draw clear of her rivals. In the lane she was a sure winner, and she trotted a strong final quarter of :28.4 to check in one-and-a-half lengths on top in a 1:57.2 mile for her fourth win of the season. Hearduwhispermynam rallied for second over SD Eliminator.

The winner is a Braggart filly, owned by Set The Pace Racing LLC and trained by Jessica Johnson. She paid $6.40 to win.

The $9,200 "B" division went to Al Mar Spicey Talk (Brady Jenson, $47.20) in 2:01 for her second win and a new mark. Miss Gracious was a close second and Go Margeaux was home third. The winner is a gelding by Money Talks, owned by Joshua Horvat and trained by Katie Horvat.

So So De Vie (Mooney Svendsen, $4.40) was part of a double for trainer Edward Hernandez - scoring another big win for three in a row and posting a lifetime mark of 1:52.2 in a $4,800 conditioned pace. The winning owner is Jose Cervantes.

Drivers Dean Magee, Braxten Boyd, and Mooney Svendsen all completed doubles on the Sunday program. Trainer Edward Hernandez led all trainers with his two wins on the card.
