Jaclyn Hanover ($2.60) charged late to capture the $6,500 featured fillies and mares pace on Friday (August 24) at Vernon Downs for trainer, driver and owner John MacDonald.

Its A Miracle (Leon Bailey) went out and led the field to a first quarter in :27. Dangerousprecedent (Claude Huckabone III) then moved to the front, taking them to a half of :56.1 and three-quarters in 1:23.4.

Jaclyn Hanover found herself fifth after the three-quarters, but passed them all to win in 1:52.1. Love Live Laugh (Jimmy Whittemore) came up to finish second with Dangerousprecedent settling for third.

The win was number five of the season and career victory number 18 for the six-year-old mare by Dragon Again.

MacDonald had a driving double; he earned his other win with Anja ($3.90).

Oh No Three O ($3.40) and driver Jeff Long won an exciting trot feature.

Walk The Floor (Claude Huckabone III) controlled all the early fractions (:28.2, :57.3, 1:26.1) and opened up by three lengths in the stretch. Oh No Three O, third after three-quarters, took up the chase. Owned by Charlene Long and trained by Paul Long, Oh No Three O wore down Walk The Floor and held off the late rush by Kabu (John MacDonald) to win in 1:55. Walk The Floor and Kabu finished in a dead heat for second.

Oh No Three O is an 11-year-old gelding by Ken Warkentin. The win was his fourth of the season and career victory number 36.
