The talk of the toteboard in the $11,500 featured pace at Running Aces on Saturday (Aug. 22) was Its Pacific Time, sent the 1-9 favourite from post 6 and looking to extend a six-race winning streak that began on July 4.

Driver Rick Magee sent the favoured filly straight to the front in the Minnesota-sired event and posted fractions of :27.3, :57 and 1:26 with Huftalookatdatfany in close pursuit from the pocket and D Vigilante sitting third.

Its Pacific Time ($2.20) then took off, sprinting to the wire to pull away by seven-and-a-quarter lengths and stop the timer in 1:54.3 over D Vigilante, who got past Huftalookatdatfany in the lane for second. The winning filly now has 15 victories and $59,137 banked to date for owner John Hendricks. The winning trainer is Joel Mc Danel.

Bunkerhill Phil (Braxten Boyd) scored his second win in a row when he captured the $6,900 Colts & Geldings Pace in the early non wagering event in 1:56. Owned, trained and bred by Gene Miller, Bunkerhill Phil now has 13 wins and $99,049 earned.

Heza Real Diamond (Nick Roland, $3.20) scored a dominating victory in a $6,000 conditioned pace in 1:51, just missing the track record for four-year-old pacing geldings by one-fifth of a second. It was the eighth win of the season and a career mark for the son of Allamerican Native. The winner is owned by Orlando Nevarez and trained by Edwin Quevedo.

Driver Nick Roland led the Saturday program with three winners, while Dean Magee posted a driving double. Trainer Edwin Quevedo led the card with two winners.

Live Racing returns to Running Aces on Sunday (Aug. 23) with first post at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) and will feature a carryover in the 20-cent Pick-5 Jackpot wager of $1,464.93.
