Billings Trot To Arnold, Nono Lindy

With an incredible comeback after break at the start, Nono Lindy rallied to score a 2:01 triumph for Jazmin Arnold in a Midwest region Billings trot on Wednesday evening (Aug. 21) at the Darke County, Ohio Fair.

Arnold had to get her trotter back on gait before starting from Post 2. When she did, the talented miss found that Nono Lindy was some 15 lengths behind the leader, Winbak Charles M (who was driven by Larry Farley), at the :29.4 quarter pole.

Arnold got her trotter closer – six lengths behind Farley's charge – at the 1:00 half. Nono Lindy advanced up the backside, but still found herself in fourth on the outside at the 1:31 three-quarters pole.

After a tough journey, Nono Lindy trotted to the lead in the lane, rebuffed a late charge by Massive Storm (Gregg Keidel) and hung on to record a game, nose win. Third place went to Hes On A Mission (Kiara Morgan).

Owned by Terrence Smith and trained Herman Hegerman, Nono Lindy paid $11.00 to win.
