Toxicity ($9.70) was a blowout winner in the featured $1,675 Winners Over Pace on Friday (August 21) at Truro Raceway, dominating his rivals by nearly 10 lengths.

Toxicity took the lead at the :28.3 quarter mark and carved out middle splits of :58.1 and 1:27.2 before drawing off by 9-3/4 lengths to stop the clock in 1:56.1. After a parked out Rusty Riley faded, Docs Ronhenry won the race for place, finishing just ahead of Godro Machine and Lady N Paradise.

Toxicity was acquired in late July by trainer Carrie Saunders and driver Kurt Harper, and the six-year-old Art Major gelding picked up his first East Coast win following a pair of runner-up efforts in Charlottetown and Truro earlier this month.

The victory was his first in 16 starts this year and it counted as his 10th triumph lifetime.
