Game Zac Puts His Best Hoof Forward

Game Zac brought his 'A' game to the track on Sunday afternoon, wiring a field of six top pacers in the featured $1,000 Winners Over Pace at Inverness Raceway

Fan favourite Game Zac and trainer-driver Alex MacNeil left from Post 5 and cruised through fractions of :29.1, :58.4 and 1:29.3 en route to a 1:58 victory with the rest of the field following in single file alignment. Fex Education (Ryan Campbell) followed one and a quarter lengths behind in second with Handee Man (Angelo Camilli) over seven lengths in arrears.

The six-year-old gelded son of Expensive Scooter-Game Xoxa is owned by Kevin Gillis of Windsor, Ont. Game Zac, who notched his fourth win of the season, has yet to finish out of the money in 17 starts since moving to the East Coast this year.
