The track record for three-year-old pacing colts fell on Friday at Alberta Downs thanks to a powerful clocking of 1:55.1 turned in by the Harold Haining trainee, Revolver

.

With Brandon Campbell calling the shots from the sulky, Revoler was allowed to settle into the three-hole while K B Hercules and Promised Rocket took turns on the lead through fractions of :27.4 and :58. Revoler made his move at race leader Promised Rocket on the way to the three-quarter pole, and a half-length separated them at that point in 1:26.2.

Revoler summoned up a :28.4 closing panel to draw away to a 3-1/2 length decision over Skirmish, who rallied from last and wound up second. Happyagain Mindale rounded out the top three finishers in the $4,000 conditioned event for pacers.

Donald Richardson of Cochrane, AB owns the son of Dragon Again-Toplessnbottomless, who shaved three-fifths of a second off the former track standard of 1:55.4. That mark was established by Dreamway Confed on June 28, 2010.
