It is not often that you see 10 and 11-year-olds showing adults how to put equipment on and race standardbreds, but that was the scene at Sarnia's Hiawatha Horse Park when Tyler Kula of The Observer learned the ropes from some
participants of the Ontario Harness Horse Association Youth Camp.
As Kula explained in his report on The Observer, OHHA Camp Co-ordinator Liz Waples and campers Bree Pede, 10, and Hailey Butler, 11, showed him the ropes and gave him pointers before he got out on the track with DM Billy The Kid in a double-seated jog cart.
