Parisian Blue Chip powered off the favourite's cover turning for home and drew clear to win Friday's feature at Woodbine Mohawk Park, a $24,000 fillies and mares conditioned pace.
After watching a pair of early lead changes through a :26.1 opener, driver Tyler Jones moved Parisian Blue Chip from mid-pack near the :54.4 half-mile mark and caught the cover of 5-2 favourite Gias Surreal (Bob McClure). They continued to advance through three-quarters in 1:23.1 and stormed three-wide off the turn. Snow Shark (Travis Cullen) gave way on the front end and Parsian Blue Chip rallied by Gias Surreal in mid-stretch to win going away by two lengths in 1:51, with Shes Got It All (Trevor Henry) and Western Wish (J.R. Plante) closing late for second and third.
Sent postward at odds of 4-1, Parisian Blue Chip paid $10.50 to win.
