Michael Casalino Jr. and Dylan Davis' Theresademoninme (Jim Morand, $2.80) won his third straight race in the $15,000 Open Handicap Trot on Wednesday (August 17) at Harrington Raceway.

Theresademoninme left the gate from post position three at odds of 2-5 and marched through fractions of :27.3, :56.2 and 1:25.2 as I Like My Boss applied pressure and eventually yielded. Theresademoninme then opened up four lengths on the field to win in 1:55 as Royal Becca J out-kicked I Like My Boss for the place spot.

Trained by Dylan Davis, the winner surpassed his 2015 win total by earning his sixth victory of the year.

After the fourth race, a moment of silence was held to honour the memory of popular Delaware horseman Ben Stafford Jr., who passed away on July 6. Stafford was a well liked member of the local racing community who had trained horses with his father for nearly 30 years and had driven such quality horses as Mudslide, Badlands And Art and Badlands Jenna, just to name a few. A large contingent consisting of friends, family and members of the horsemen community showed their support in the winner's circle to honour Stafford's memory.

Poker Hat, a 12-year-old Cams Card Shark gelding, went out on a high note as the pacer won the final start of his 298-race career in 1:55. Driven by George Dennis for trainer Josh Green, Poker Hat earned his 62nd career and pushed his earnings to $918,535.
