Great Luck came from last in a short field of five and then fought off challenger Macnamarra to win the $1,200 Winners Over Pace featured on Sunday afternoon's harness racing card at Inverness Raceway.

John Murphy drove the nine-year-old E Dees Cam gelding to the one-length victory in 2:00.1, while Macnamarra settled for second-place and Surrealist finished third. Great Luck paid $17.50 for the upset win as favourite Rez Rampage made an interference break early on.

Murphy also trains Great Luck, who has earned three wins this season -- one each at Truro Raceway, Northside Downs and Inverness Raceway. The career winner of 31 races and nearly $185,000 in purses is owned by John Gibbons of Sydney Mines, N.S.
