The recipients have been named for the 2024 scholarships awarded by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey (SBOANJ) and the Backstretch Community Assistance Program (BCAP).
This year’s recipients are Ryley Fusco, attending University of North Caroline; Caleen Goldstein, attending Brown University; Kyra Suleski, attending University of Tampa; Summer Lang, attending Monmouth University; and Jaiden Gingras, attending Rider University.
The scholarships were awarded based on academic excellence, community service, financial need and affiliation with the New Jersey Standardbred industry.
All of the students that received scholarships from the SBOANJ and BCAP are enrolled in the upcoming fall semester.
The SBOANJ congratulates the winners and their families and wishes them success in their future academic careers.
