Dexter Dunn made an impromptu stop at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Saturday, Aug. 10 and won the $34,247 Open Pace with Chase H Hanover in 1:50.

Dunn got Chase H Hanover the pocket trip behind stablemate Carbine (Kayne Kauffman). Carbine set fractions of :27, :55.1 and 1:23.1, while the compact field of five bunched up as Santana Hanover (Tim Deaton) came first up. Chase H Hanover is trained by Virgil Morgan, Jr. for Odds On Racing and Carl Howard. The six-year-old gelded son of Captaintreacherous now has five wins in 14 seasonal starts and $1.045 million in lifetime earnings.

Dunn dropped by the South Columbus oval on his way from The Meadows, where he raced on Friday, to The Red Mile for drives on Sunday and Monday. He had 14 drives on the Saturday card with seven wins.

Racing continues at Scioto on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
