Three-year-old Tellitlikeitis filly Shesgotitgoingon made her career pari-mutuel debut Sunday evening (July 7) at Running Aces, and the roan lass came from off the pace to post an eleven-and-a-half-length victory in 1:53.1.
Shesgotitgoingon ($8.40), who is trained, driven and co-owned by Don Harmon, had only faced the gate in a single qualifier (June 25) prior to her Sunday mile. She was sent off as the 3-1 second choice in the nine horse affair and got away third, where she tracked the early pace (:27.2, :57.1).
She launched a swift move to the front near the five-eighths, grabbed the lead before the 1:25 three-quarters pole, and then opened a ton of daylight on her foes before ending things.
Shesgotitgoingon is a homebred filly that I sowned by Don and Krista Harmon. The filly’s 1:53.1 mile was just one second off of the current track record for three year old pacing fillies (Flick A Fly, 1:52.1).
Running Aces’ 20-cent Pick-5 Jackpot wager now has a carryover of $3,551.93 heading into the Tuesday night (July 9) card, which will get underway at 7:00 p.m. (CDT).
